Each session features creative, hands-on activities that encourage exploration, learning, and community. Some activities may be messy or require parental assistance.

Drop in anytime and leave as needed.

Jenny Shackelford is a lifelong native of these foothills and has always had a deep appreciation for the gifts it provides for us. Take a walk with her and learn about the local wild medicine growing at your feet. Jenny will discuss identification, ethical foraging practices, medicinal benefits and practical application of local wild foragables as well as providing recipes for making herbal remedies for yourself at home. Jenny’s walk/talk will be back on the last Sunday every month.

Join us for a cozy and creative crochet class with McKenzie! Whether you're a beginner or experienced, this welcoming four-week series will help you build skills in a relaxed, community-focused setting. Learn essential stitches, crochet terms, and pattern reading with hands-on guidance.

Join us for a morning of hands-on, nature-inspired play every Monday through June 2 (except the first Monday of each month) from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Land Trust. Each session features creative, hands-on activities that encourage exploration, learning, and community. Some activities may be messy or require parental assistance.

Drop in anytime and leave as needed.
$5 donation per child (must be accompanied by a parent).
Bring water and bug spray.

Led by Shaun, an experienced educator, gardener, and outdoor play advocate, these sessions foster curiosity and connection through play in an open-air classroom.

On Sunday, April 20, adults will gather at the large gazebo at 9:00 a.m. to hide your eggs. (Pre-stuffed plastic eggs only, please.) At 10:00 the kids will start their hunt. Have your camera ready because they move fast!

Around 11:00 we will have a potluck picnic together. Please bring food to share and your re-usable plates, utensils, etc.

All forms of actual eggs are welcome for this as long as you promise to take any leftovers home with you.

These beginner-friendly Tarot classes will be a general crash course on how to give yourself and others a tarot. Learn how to interpret two types of tarot spreads, and how to read the cards with no spread at all. The first hour class (beginner) will be dedicated to the major arcana and the second hour class (advanced) will be dedicated to the minor arcana and the court cards.

Yay! We have a weekly yoga class again! Join us for these small classes every Saturday at 11am. Bring your mat, water bottle and bug spray! All ability levels welcome. Classes will move inside in the case of cold or inclement weather.

Vada is a lover of all things movement, her passion lies in using the body as a tool for liberation. Her classes consist of many forms of yoga, integrating different kinds of movement to create an optimal inner landscape. She is a 200hr RYT since March 2024, and is excited to share the yoga space with you.

The Land Trust was created by countless hours of volunteer labor. That tradition continues with our Community Work Day on the 3rd Saturday every month. Getting together to get the work done is the surest way to build and experience community! We’ll be weeding, spreading wood chips, doing special projects, and more. Bring drinking water and work gloves. If you like what you see here, plug in and participate! Rain date: 4th Saturday. (Check the website if the weather is iffy.)

Spring has sprung and that means it's time for our annual Spring Fest Peace and Love Festival!

Join us on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Lake Claire Community Land Trust.

This annual celebration brings the community together with live music, food trucks, an artist market, a bake sale, face painting, beer and wine, soft drinks, and cold-pressed juice.
