Sauna, Showers & Little Fishpond. The Sauna was the first structure ever built on the Land Trust back in ?????. Showers were added to prepare for campers during the 1996 Olympics, using 50-gallon drums painted black and heated by the sun. The sauna was used for community sweats for many years, but is currently not open to the public due to liability concerns. The fenced enclosure includes a small koi pond which began as a South Face Institute demonstration project, later rebuilt with cement. The fence was installed in 2012 with a $500 grant from the Gay & Lesbian Atlanta Fund through the Community Foundation, in honor of Phillip Rush. ***
