The Restroom, built in 2001, offers shelf space for free magazines and other giveaways. It was originally built for classes held by Tree Climbers International in two large oaks in a vacant lot two doors down at 290 Arizona. A compost toilet had been used on the back of the property until then; this one has regular city plumbing. Like most structures on Land Trust, the Restroom was designed and built by Charlie Pope. It was completed in time for the wedding of Merlin and Karin, held on the Land Trust. The interior walls were beautifully decorated much later by John Carden.
