For six years, the neighborhood Blair Witch has returned to the Love House each fall, becoming an unofficial symbol of the season and a community tradition. Neighbors are invited to help decorate and tend to Blair throughout the fall before she is released in a final winter ceremony.

More than just something spooky for the season, Blair has come to represent love, acceptance, and community. The tradition asks us to consider what happens when, instead of fearing or pushing away what we don’t understand, we choose to welcome it in.
