Sunday Slow Down Music Series

Slow down your Sunday and spend the evening with us at the Lake Claire Community Land Trust! Sunday Slow Down is a free neighborhood music series featuring local musicians from Lake Claire and surrounding communities performing live on the Land Trust amphitheater stage.

Join us every Sunday in October from 5:30–8 PM for a different lineup and sound—from folk, bluegrass, and Americana to country, rock, and jam.

Bring a blanket or chair, pack a picnic, and settle in under the trees for an evening of live music, good neighbors, and community. All shows are free and open to everyone!

Sunday, October 4 — GiddyUp

Kick off the Sunday Slow Down Music Series with GiddyUp, a neighborhood-grown band that first came together at the Lake Claire Arts & Crafts Festival in December 2025. Featuring Paul Shaw on guitar and vocals, Mel Shaw on vocals, Adam Fristoe on mandolin and vocals, Leonard Wortzel on banjo, and Frank Williams on fiddle, GiddyUp brings a lively mix of folk, bluegrass, original songs, and eclectic tunes.

Expect plenty of twang, strings, and musical uplift—and maybe a little boogiewoogie with the beat. Bring a blanket or chair, pack a picnic, and settle in around the amphitheater for the first Sunday Slow Down of October.
