Visible Mending Embroidery Classes with Pen Sherwood

Join longtime neighbor Pen Sherwood for a hands-on introduction to visible mending—the art of repairing and personalizing clothing with intention and creativity. As Pen puts it, “While sorting the thread and weaving the needles, I instinctively sort myself and my life.”

You’ll learn foundational embroidery stitches and how to use them to mend or embellish clothing with thread, yarn, beads, and buttons—whether giving new life to a beloved piece or transforming a thrifted find.

$25 per person (20% supports the Land Trust)
