This beginner-friendly Tarot class is designed to provide a general crash course on the Tarot while also demonstrating new and interesting ways to interpret the suits for more seasoned learners. It is suitable for individuals age 13 and above. In this course, we will leverage personal memory and experience to teach the universal symbols of the tarot and encourage individuals with various skill levels, from beginners to advanced, to participate. We respect and welcome individuals from all walks of life. Learning is a community, and each of us has unique and valuable insights to contribute through our passion and interest in the Tarot.

Tarot cards themselves have existed since the 1400s but were used in a card game. Not until the 1700s did people start to utilize these cards to gain insight into their past, present or future. Since the 1960s, Tarot is also used widely as a device for seeking personal guidance and spiritual growth. It is widely believed that tarot cards can help the individual explore one's spiritual path.
