Greenfield with Little Gazebo. This little meadow was formerly the back yard of founding Trustee and Nelms Ave. neighbor Richard Powers and his wife Joanne. The gazebo was originally built by Richard’s father during a visit from South Georgia, and moved a few feet when the property was subdivided and the privacy fence erected. During fundraising festivals, the Greenfield becomes a dining area and also hosts arts and craft vending booths. Notice the plaque in memory of Richard Powers (who died in 2023) and his wife Joanne Young (who died in ????), one of the original founding families.
